On the 13th of November Te Ana Ako and Haumia went to the Pasifika Mamas at the Corban Estate Art Centre. We had to take our shoes off before we went in. When Auntie Tu played the drums inside the hall Fox and Auntie Jacinda played drums too. First, we went to listen to Auntie Jacinda who told us how to make leis, We had to do flower, straw, flower, straw all way to the end of the string.
Second we played drums. Fox and Auntie Tu told us how to plays the drums.
Lastly we practised our dance performance. It was fun. We had to say goodbye to Auntie Tu, Fox and Auntie Jacinda when we were leaving.
